Letter to your Loving uncle greeting him on his 70th birthday

18 Patel Road,

My dear uncle,

I have just recalled that Tuesday is your happy birthday and so I must send you a birthday letter at once. I started with the same old greeting, Many happy returns of the day! You have been an excellent loving Uncle to me and I wish the day itself will be happy and peaceful for you. I take this opportunity of thanking you wholeheartedly, and for all, you have done for me. I know your family thinks the same way. I was so glad to hear from my father that you are still strong and can take a four miles to walk every day, and still play a good set of badminton.

I am sending you a book as a gift which I think you will love reading. You were always an avid reader, and I am glad that your eyesight remains as good as ever - so father says.
I am doing well in my job and hope to be promoted before the end of the year.

With love and best wishes,

Your loving nephew
Saurabh

Letter from a boy to his friend who has met with an accident

Dear Vivek

Rajat told me this morning that you had been knocked off your bicycle by a tonga yesterday and badly hurt. I am awfully sorry, but I hope it is not really as bad as Rajat made out. Let me know if you feel good and write back to me. Those tongawallas are awfully careless beggars. I had a nasty spill myself a few weeks ago in the same way. Happily, no bones were broken. I will pray for your speedy recovery.

Yours forever
Karan
