About the lesson

This is the story of a woman who is not satisfied with what she has got. She [ Matilda] is pretty but not very rich. she borrowers and necklace from his friend to wear for a party. she loses it. to replace it, if her husband buys a new diamond necklace. they have to borrow money to buy it. they have to live a lower class life for 10 years to repay the debt. Then once Matilda comes across that friend of her. she tells her the whole story about the necklace. Her friend is touched and tells her that her necklace was not of real diamonds.
