Ans. Her son dies, Kisa Gotami goes from house to house to ask ok for the medicine to save her son’s life. no, no she does not get any medicine because there is no such medicine that can cure the Dead.
Q2. Kisa Gotami again goes from house to house after she speaks with the Buddha. what does she ask for, for the second time around? does she get it? why not?
Ans. Grieved at her son's death Kisa Gotami on somebody saying goes to Buddha. she cries before him and asks him to give her some medicine that can cure her son. Buddha asks her to bring a handful of mustard seeds. but the seeds must be taken from a house where no one has lost a child, husband, parent, or friend.
asking for this handful of mustard seeds, she went from house to house. but she did not get them as there was no house that has never witnessed death.
Q3. What does Kisa Gautami understand the second time that she failed to understand the time? was this what Buddha wanted her to understand?
Ans. Asking for a cure to her dead son, Kisa Gautami goes to Buddha. Buddha asks her to bring a handful of mustard seeds from a house where no one has lost a child, husband, parent, or friend. she goes from house to house. but she doesn't get them as there is no house that has never witnessed death. now she understands that death is inevitable. she realizes is that lives are like the lights of the city which flicker and extinguish again. this was the very thing that the Buddha wanted her to understand.
Q4. Why do you think that Kisa Gotami understood this only the second time? in what way did Buddha change her understanding?
Ans. Kisa Gotami understood that inevitable of death the second time because now she knew that that had not spared any house. The Buddha changes her understanding with the simple act of asking a handful of mustard seeds from the house where none had died. asking for this handful of mustard seeds, she went from house to house but she didn't get them as there was no house that never witnessed death.

Ans. I usually understand the idea of ‘selfishness’ with the point of Thinking first of your own interest, needs, etc. without concern for others. yes, I agree with these are Gota me that she was being selfish in her grief. she forgot the reality of this Motel word that that is common to all. she wanted her dead son to be cured. this was really an act of selfishness. knowing that death comes to all, she wanted her son to be cured of it.
